Strange coincidences     

I don't really know if this is a paranormal thing, but I just don't know where to put it. It could also just be nothing at all - simply a series of random coincidences.
Periodically, words will "match up" in my brain. It could be that a song is playing while I'm reading, and a word in the song and a word I am reading will match up at exactly the same moment, or when something on the radio matches up with something I'm thinking... little things like this where one word will occur in two mediums at once and I'll notice. Sometimes it'll happen multiple times per day, and sometimes I won't notice it for days.
It's a weird phenomenon and has been happening for as long as I can remember, but I can't put a name to it. Can anyone explain what it might be (cause I can't exactly google it) or if it happens to you? Of course, it could just be nothing, but it happen too frequently for me to think that it's nothing.
