Strange experience      

Sunday evening, I stayed at my boyfriend's house (technically his mom's house). I woke up around 2am unable to sleep, feeling as though my breathing was restricted. I've woken up like this before there, but I usually just get up and get some water, go to the bathroom, and head back to bed, but this time I felt really uneasy. I shook it off because I had just woken up from a really odd dream about my absent mother. She's not deceased, she just bailed when I was really young. I watched TV for awhile and fell back asleep.
In the morning, my boyfriend left for work so we said our goodbyes and I went back to sleep since I didn't need to be in class until noon. His uncle and mom had both left as well. I'm a fairly light sleeper, and was awoken by the feeling of weight shifting on the bed, as though someone was getting into bed with me, but it was definitely too light to be my boyfriend, and he was at work anyway so being in between being awake and asleep I thought maybe it was his dog. Still too light to be her and there was no noise, plus we keep the door closed anyway. It felt like a child, probably 7-8 years old. I laid there for a minute, now awake, and waited. Next I felt what felt like someone running their hand across the surface of the mattress right next to my side that I was facing away from. That kinda tripped me out so I sat up and just looked around and clearly no one was there that I could see.
I didn't really know what to think, so I just got up and got ready for the day, went to class, and then my boyfriend came to my apartment to meet me so we could go to dinner with my family. I had mentioned to him that I thought I had an experience that morning and told him about it. He said that when he and his mother first moved into the house when he was little he had a lot of experiences particularly when he was sleeping. He felt someone watching him, hands lingering over his face, etc. He told his mother about it and she went to the local library to research the house. He said that his friends had mentioned getting up at night and seeing a little girl in a nightgown near the old coal room in the basement (his room was in the finished part of the basement at the time).
When his mom went to the library, she read an old newspaper article about the family living in the house at one point and the father locked his wife and children into the coal room and burned them alive. I haven't read into it but I'm planning on going to the library as well to see if I can find anything for myself since I haven't had much luck finding information online.
I just thought I would share my experience with you guys and maybe I could get some insight as to how to find more information
